• KOffice, part of the KDE project. The suite is not yet finished but is usable and if it's up to the same standard as the rest of KDE will be good!
  
  
• One can obtain a WordPerfect 8 for linux for free.
  
  
• If you like (La)TeX check out LyX or KLyX, wysiwyg front ends.
  
  
• Finally, the GNOME Office suite, is well, not really a suite, but a collection of GNOME-based programmes that can do most of the office-type stuff.

• Corel have taken an interest in linux, releasing their own distribution. They have released a Wordperfect-based office suite for Linux (around 100 or 150 US Dollars depending on version).
