www.sunfreeware.com	Sunfreeware.com is home to the Sun Freeware Project --- "created for and sponsored by" Sun Microsystems to provide, for free, downloadable binaries distributions for Solaris of many applications and utilities which are otherwise available in source form, notably the GNU software.
www.freeware4sun.com	freeware4sun is another project offering freely-downloadable binary distros of software which is usually available as source-only. This one is funded by InfoNet.
www.blastwave.com	CSW --- Community SoftWare for Solaris is effort to create a set of binary packages of free software, that can be automatically downloaded and installed to a Solaris computer Software installation is normally done via the pkg-get script (inspired by the Debian Linux project). pkg-get install apache pkg-get will then download and automatically install the CSWapache package and packages on which it depends.
