Shutting Cosmos Down

    /usr/sbin/shutdown -y -g 120 -i 0 "Eric is going down --- logout!"

Bringing Eric Up

  1. Switch the disks on first --- both arrays; ensure the disks spin up (a green LED will flash for each disk in the array).
  2. Then switch on Eric by turning the key.
  3. View the boot process by using Rippon as the console.
