• Standalone (call Wolfram Research for key) and networked (via license-server on Cosmos).

Solaris

Installed on Cosmos --- need eXceed of XFree86. (For the latter need the appropriate fonts downloaded onto your machine and the font-path set correctly).
math --- command-line, mathematica --- GUI (/usr/local/bin).

Linux

No public machines --- buy a CD; standalone and networked (via Cosmos).
