On why you should use !C

C has many weaknesses:

• difficult to read --- C can easily be "write-only".
  
  
• difficult to debug;

• difficult to write portable code;
  
  
• poor support for software engineering --- little support for encapsuation (difficult to divide up projects amongst members of teams);
  
  
• poor array handling: large arrays inefficient, no array-bounds checking option;
  
  
• the "standard" is full of holes --- different compilers offer different C languages...
