  ...as installed from source from /home/mpciish2/__solaris_src/ssh-3.2.3. There is an appropriate startup script installed (/etc/init.d/sshd) with a suitable link in /etc/rc2.d so the daemon starts on machine boot.
  
  
• SNMP as installed from source from /home/mpciish2/__solaris_src/__snmp/net-snmp-5.0.3. At the time of writing there is no suitable startup script installed, so the thing must be kicked manually on boot:
