A4 documents printed from Cosmos often come out on A3 paper!
Most applications on unix boxes will export to Postscript and sending such a file to most modern printers will produce output. However, such Postscript files rarely contain printer-specific commands for choosing the paper-tray, for, for example, A3 or A4 OHP.
